Mildred M. Elmore

MILDRED M. ELMORE, 93, of Mullens, WV, widow of Earl Elmore, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010, in Huntington, W.Va. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, W.Va., by Dr. J. Allen Reasons. Burial will follow. She was born January 24, 1917, in Wyoming County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Guy and Pearl Reed Meyers. She was a homemaker and longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Mullens. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry E. Elmore and a sister, Helen Ramsey. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Mary Beth Elmore of Huntington, W.Va., and Don and Sue Elmore of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Earlene Dooley of West Palm Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren and spouses John and Melissa Dooley, Mark Dooley, SusAnn and Kerry Kennedy, Dave Elmore, Sara and Shannon Dean, Christina and George King, Melanie and Ruffin Stepp and Rebecca and Jeff Kwitowski and 11 great-grandchildren.
