Mr. Claude Edward Hodge

Claude Edward Hodge, 85, of Huntington, passed away Friday June 1, 2012 at Rivers Bend, South Point Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Jerry Chapman. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born April 21, 1927 in Griffithsville, WV, a son of the late John William and Effie May Miles Hodge. Claude was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War. He was also retired from Sunshine Biscuit Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Carl and Clark Hodge and three sisters May Egnor, Mabel Dillard and Jewel Rood Adkins. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years Lena B. Hart Hodge; daughter Claudia Marie Pancake; son and daughter in law John Edward and Katharine Hodge; grandchildren Gina Marie Pancake Dixon, Daniel John Hodge, Molly Marie and Riley Katherine Hodge and great grandchildren Ryan Matthew and Ella Marie Dixon.
