Mr. Duard Wallace Bellomy

Duard Wallace Bellomy, 96, died January 4, 2013, of natural causes. He was born in Hubbardstown, West Virginia and was preceded in death by parents, David & Nannie Bellomy, sisters Nettie Stephenson and Floa Bell Carey, and brother Homer Bellomy. He moved to Lakeland, FL in 1965 and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church since moving to Lakeland in 1965. Mr. Bellomy retired from Owens Illinois Glass Company May 30, 1978, after 37 years. He did the books for Huntington Hills Golf Club. He loved to bowl, golf, and play cards with family & friends. He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Pauline Bellomy; daughter, Susan Bellomy; niece, Lucy Dorsey, nephew, David (Debbie) Bellomy; great- nephews Tom (Debbie), Fred (Kim), Randy, and Johnny Paul Dorsey.great nieces, Gail (Bill) Banks, Lisa (William) Diamond, and Joella (Charles) Hanlon; and several other nieces & nephews. A memorial service was held at Lakeside Baptist Church on January 10, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church, Senior Adults, 1736 New Jersey Rd. Lakeland, FL 33803. Interment was at Woodmere Memorial Park. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
