Mr. Roy Leslie Gwilliams

ROY LESLIE GWILLIAMS died July 3, 2012, in his home surrounded by family. He was born July 28, 1936, and was married to Betty Joanne Adkins Gwilliams for 56 years. Roy worked many years as a carpenter and cabinet installer for Chandler's Plywood, and retired with 25 years at CSX Railroad. He loved to fish and camp with his family and worked at remodeling his home. Roy had four children, Leslie Jo Thibodeau, Marcia Gwilliams, Fred Gwilliams and Kim Runyon; and he loved very much his 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He and his wife recently moved to Florence, Ky., after living several years in the Westmoreland area of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Westmoreland Baptist Church, 3401 Hughes St., by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens.
