Mrs. Betty Jo Harless

Betty Jo Harless, 80, of Lavalette, W. Va., passed away Wednesday, February, 27, 2013, at St. Marys’ Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Johnny Harris. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Wayne, W. Va. She was born June 25, 1932 in Cabell County, W. Va. a daughter of the late Frank and Marie Gibson Tate. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Diana Lynn Harless and a brother Frankie Tate. Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law Kenneth Ray and Rosita Harless of Lavalette, W. Va., Roger Harless and Richard Harless both of Georgia, three grandchildren Kenneth Harless, Jr. and his wife Amy, Regina Harless and Heather Ramey and her husband Rodney, nine great-grandchildren, a brother James Tate of Georgia, two sisters Virginia and Brenda both of Michigan and several nieces and nephews.
