Mrs. Edna Mae Alley Wells

Edna Mae Alley Wells, 97, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Randy Lavender. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Edna was a member of the Jackson Avenue Church of God (Holiness) and a retired LPN from St. Mary’s Hospital. Edna was born on October 6, 1914 in Nicholas County, WV the daughter of the late James Madison and Ida Jane Walker Cook. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Clinton Alley and 2nd husband: Forrest Wells and son Don Alley, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her two sons and daughters in laws; Jim and Mary Alley and Charles “Dick” and Pat Alley and one daughter and son in law: Arlene and Bil Roy. Ten stepchildren, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Reger Funeral Home.
