Mrs. Marian Louise Marcum

Marian Louise Marcum passed away on March 21, 2012 after a very courageous fight with cancer. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, 1242 Adams Avenue, Huntington, WV 25704 by Rev. Lyle Marcum. Marian is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roy G. Marcum. Her five children, survive her; son Victor (Mary) Marcum, daughters; Sheroma (Curt) Funke, Robin Pachinger, Sandra (Andrew) Arline, and Elizabeth McMillian. Nine grandchildren; Aaron Funke, Christopher (Kate) Marcum Joshua (Robyn) Funke, Erica (Scott) Schieber, Brian Pachinger, Andrea, Alexandria, Olivia Arline, Victoria McMillian, and one great-grandchild, Max Marcum. Marian was a partner, along with her husband Roy G. Marcum, at Marcum Auction and Realty Company and Tri-State Auction Center, in Huntington,WV. They worked together in the auction business for over 50 years, both in West Virginia and Ohio. Marian also was a member of the Eastern Star and president of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
