Mrs. Maxine Blatt

MAXINE BLATT, 78, of Huntington, wife of Charles Blatt, passed away Sunday April 8, 2012, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Dr. Ricky Ray and Father Jim Sobus. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Wayne County, W.Va. She was born May 3, 1933 in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Maxi and Gaynell Ball Midkiff. She was a homemaker. Additional survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Mindy and Greg Turner of Huntington; two sons and daughters-in-law Randy and Rhonda Blatt and Scott and Brooke Blatt, all of Huntington; six grandchildren and their spouses Jeremy and Mallory Watts, Sarah and Kevin Day, Brittany and Tylor Jones, Alex Blatt, Kaitlin Blatt and Josh Blatt; two great-grandchildren Dexter Jones and Noah Jones; three brothers and sisters-in-law Bob and Wanda Midkiff of Wayne, W.Va., Keith and Polley Midkiff and Ernie and Frances Midkiff, all of Huntington, and other special people in her life, Lucille and Donna Easthon, Doralene and Frank Dowis, Sue, Andy and Kendall Budd, Christy Kloc and family, Ronnie and Denise and family, and several other close friends.
