Myrtle “Kaki” Mae Watson

Myrtle "Kaki" Mae Watson, 92, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Woodlands Oaks Health Care, Ashland, KY. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 1 pm by Pastor Phillip Warren at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. Kaki was born on November 30, 1931 in Branchland, W.Va. a daughter of the late Kisel and Corene Davis Watson. She loved her family and spending time with them at family gatherings, which she always had a hand in planning. She would supervise any home improvement projects not only at her home but at her family members homes as well. She loved tending to her flowers at her home but Kaki was truly at home when the family would visit "her beach", Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Watson. Kaki is survived by her three children, Billie (Steve) Haffer, Doug Hazlett, and Tammie (Ken) Evans; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Fred (Linda) Watson; and five sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean (Boyd) Blankenship, Jewel Mills, Linda (Lawrence) Collins, Hazel (Pete) Haffer, and Genevieve (Barney) Runyon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
