Neal Anthony Borgmeyer

Neal A. Borgmeyer, 67, died at his home in Huntington, WV on Friday, March 17 after a prolonged illness. He was born on March 11, 1950 to Rolland J. and Georgiana BAUER Borgmeyer in St. Charles, MO. Neal is survived by his mother, his siblings Gary (Sandi) Borgmeyer of Menomonie, WI, Very Rev. Dean Borgmeyer of Huntington, WV, and Sr. Gail Borgmeyer also of Huntington. Neal was a proud graduate of Marshall University. He was retired from the National Park Service working on projects throughout the U.S. including the historical reconstruction of the The Robert E. Lee Memorial and his final assignment was at Kaluapapa, Hawaii—the former leprosy colony. He helped on renovation projects for the Pallottine Missionary Sisters. In remembrance, donations can be made to the animal rescue of your choice. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family. Funeral services are still pending.
