Nellie "Pat" Marie Adkins

Nellie Marie �Pat� Adkins, 93 of Winter Park, Florida, formerly of Ceredo, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 25, 2013. She was born on February 3, 1920, the daughter of William H. Patrick and Dove Alice Chapman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William H. Adkins. Nellie is survived by her three loving sons: William A. (Andrea) Adkins, Ron L. (Cynthia) Adkins and Gary N. (Marsha Pinson) Adkins, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Nellie was proud of being the very first Majorette for the Ceredo-Kenova High School in 1937. She was a Red Cross Volunteer for twenty years and a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo for over 60 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church of Ceredo on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 2 PM with Pastor Rodney Hale officiating with burial to follow at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Ceredo.
