Nettie Elizabeth Cole

Nettie Elizabeth McGown Cole, 90, of Kenova, WV passed away peacefully on September 30, 2017 at Huntington Health Rehab. She was born on April 10,1927 to the late parents Delbert McGown and Edna (Akers) McGown Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Cole of 59 years. Nettie was a member of Freewill Baptist Church, Westmoreland. In addition to her husband and parents Nettie was preceded in death by her two sisters, Annabelle Pratt and Polly Thompson; and one brother, Sherman McGown. She leaves behind to mourn her loss; children, Terry Lee Cole (Donna) of Kenova, WV and Beverly A. Cole of Conneaut, OH; a brother, Sam Nelson Jr. grandchildren, Terry Lee Lowe (Michele), Christi Poehlein (Brian), Jeff Lowe, Wendy Adkins (Nick) and Marci Spring (Dan). Also, surviving are 10 great grandchildren: Brett Allen, Sammy, Mariah, Kaylee, Cole, Callie, Arastella, Kyndall, Keigan and Cole; several nieces and nephews; special sister in-law, Betty Adkins and a very caring nurse, Jennifer.Friends may call from 12:00 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 3, 2017at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
