Nina Jewell Overby

Nina Jewell Overby, 77, of Huntington, WV, wife of Joe Overby went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington by Pastor Shirley Ball. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Wayne, WV.

She was born on February 16, 1947 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Howard Famous Hazelett and Jewell Dorothy Perdue Hazelett.

She was a retired operator with Verizon and a member of Trinty Chapel.

She is survived by her husband Joe Franklin Overby; son, Matthew (Stacy) Black; step children Sam (Jennifer) Overby and  Cheryl (Kendel) Stiles; one granddaughter, Stephanie Sindy; two great grandsons Liam Sindy and Ezra Sindy  and two nieces, Justine Adkins and Diana Kendrick.

Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
