Norma Louise Cook, 88, of Huntington, WV went home to be with the Lord Sunday January 12, 2025. Louise was born June 10, 1936, in Wayne County, WV the daughter of the late Verlin and Myrtle Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Cook, Son Bryan Cook, Stepsons, Thomas Cook Jr, and Mark Cook. Louise is survived by her grandson Kyle (Katellia) Cook of Culloden, WV, stepchildren Hope (Alan) Burchett of Chico, California, Paul David (Melanie) Cook, of North Carolina, Charity Haun of Huntington, WV, and four great-grandchildren Rylee, Addie, Josie, and Knox. Louise retired from the City of Huntington as Accounts Payable Director where she was well known for her famous biscuits and gravy. She was well known as “Mamaw”. Louise’s life was a beautiful reflection of God’s love. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, laughter, and unshakable strength that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. Her services will be conducted at Reger Funeral in Huntington at 1 o’clock Thursday, January 16th with burial following immediately after at Spring Hill Cemetery. Service will be held by Pastor Kenny Estep.
