Orpha Mae Martin, 86, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Paramount Senior Living in Ona, West Virginia. Born on April 1, 1938, in Harts, West Virginia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Emzie and Clara Lucas Davis.
Orpha dedicated her life to being a homemaker and attended Westmoreland Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Orpha was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Davis, and her sister, Inez Orten. She leaves behind a loving family who cherish her memory: two sons, Edgar (Trina) Martin and Tim (Shelly) Martin; two daughters, Tammy (Alan) Dills and Melinda Martin. She is also remembered fondly by her grandchildren — Michael (Wendi) Dills, Ashley (Chad) Dills, Amber (Travis) Edwards, James (Ambria) Martin, Samuel (Katy) Martin, Nancy Martin, and Lydia Martin — and her great-grandchildren, Lauren and Brynlee Dills, Olive and Felix Daniels, and Josie, Sophie, and Deacon Edwards.
A memorial service to honor Orpha's life will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Reger Funeral Home, located at 1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, West Virginia, led by Pastor Mike Lewis. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and share their condolences before the service begins
