Paul Alan Altizer

Paul Alan Altizer, 77, of Huntington, WV , went to be wit the Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Paul was born May 11. 1947 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Paul Alden Altizer and Maxine (Shafer) Altizer Salyers.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday January 20, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, WV burial will follow at Moundhill Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio

Paul is survived by two daughters, Cindy Lou (Altizer) Sims and Lora Lee(Altizer) Fischer both of Huntington, WV ; one granddaughter Jessica Autumn Smith and Qunicy. One grandson Taylor Mckenzie Altizer both of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren: Annie Smith, Carter, Israel Juda Smith and Evageline Smith all of Huntington; one sister: Loir Marie(Ables) Bachmeir, one brother, Terry Dale Altizer of Vancouver, Washington and a host of friends.

Paul retired from Owens-Illinois and was owner of Video Palace in Huntington it was the first the first video store, Video Palace in Ceredo, WV and affiliated with Video Palace in Ironton, Ohio. Paul owned Hager Cabinets in Kissimmee, Florida, a veteran of the US Army and was a life time member of American Legion Post 93 and D.A.V Post 2.

Paul was saved and baptized in 1954 and was a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church.
