Paula Opal Glynis Farris

Paula Farris, 40, of Ashland, KY died Tuesday at her residence. She was born March 17, 1968 in Paintsville, KY to George Farris, who survives and resides in Blaine, KY and Virginia Carter Perkey who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Michael Farris, maternal grandparents, Harvey Paul Carter & Merle Burchett Carter; paternal grandparents, Menifee Farris & Annie Farris; and two half brothers, George and Tracie Farris. She was attending her last year of the nursing program at ACTC. Paula was a dedicated nursing student and mother. She was a Home Health Aid locally in Ashland, KY. She is survived by three minor sons, Arron Watkins, Jacob Beam, and Daniel Beam all at home, a sister and brother-in-law, Patti & James Bowling of South Point, OH, a brother and sister-in-law, Michael David II and Malissa Perkey of Coal Grove, OH, Step- Father, Michael David Perkey Sr. of Chesapeake, OH, a sister- in-law, Jacqueline Farris of Kitts Hill, OH, 6 nieces and 4 nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of Flowers, donations to the children can be made at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home. Private services will be held at a later date.
