Pauline Adams Morrison

PAULINE ADAMS MORRISON, 87, of Huntington, widow of Oscar Woodrow Morrison, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Elder Doug Booton and Elder John McSweeney. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery, Little Lynn, Wayne County, West Virginia. She was born July 11, 1916, in East Lynn, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Annie Frye Adams. She was an independent dayworker and a member of Spring Valley Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Naman Dell Morrison; a son-in-law, Donald D. Donahoe; three brothers, Moscoe, Karo and Canso Adams; and five sisters, Spicie Belcher, Mittie Burns, Nancy Kinser, Jessie Blankenship and Erie Adams. Survivors include her twin sister, America Donahoe Aliff of Huntington; one son and two daughters-in-law, Freelin and Gail Morrison of Wilmington, N.C., and Judy Morrison of Wayne, W.Va.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Virginia Lee and Robert Phillips of Columbus, Ohio, and Anna Mae Donahoe of Huntington; 10 grandchildren, Roger and Darrell Donahoe, Robert L., Clifford, Larry and Kevin Phillips, Jeff Morrison, Darleen Morgan, Teressa Kirby and Amanda Matthews; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mildred Adams of Columbus, Ohio; a host of nieces and nephews and church family and her friends at the Bison Senior Citizen Center. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Reger Funeral Home.
