Pauline Elizabeth Adkins

Pauline Elizabeth Adkins, 85 Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Genesis Heritage Nursing Facility. Catholic funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Fr. Dean Borgmeyer. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova. Mrs. Adkins was born August 1, 1932 in Lawrence County, Ohio a daughter of the late Albert and Golda Vance Thompson. She was a retired employee of Owens Illinois. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charley J. Adkins, daughter Joyce, and son Terry and two brothers William and Jim Thompson. Survivors include her son Michael, daughter-in-law Nancy ; one granddaughter Mitzi Meade, one sister Dorothy and Ed Hetzler, one special sister-in-law Bessie Adkins, and the loves of her life her two great-grandsons, Brock and Tucker Meade . The family would like to thank Heritage Nursing Facility for their kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Visitation will be one hour before services at Reger Funeral Home.
