Peachy Phipps

Peachy �Peggy� (Howard) Phipps, 88, of Huntington died Sunday, April 09, 2006 at Jo-Lin Health Care in Ironton, OH. She was born July 7, 1917 in Salyersville, KY a daughter to the late Jessie Seymour and Elizabeth Betsy (Crace) Howard. She united in marriage to Mr. Franklin Odell Phipps who preceded her in death. To this union were born two daughters; Marsha McComas and Rebecca Shaw and a son; Wayne Alexander Phipps. She is survived by two grandchildren; Betina and her husband Meridith �Gig� Clark, and Brittany Hammond; two great-grandchildren, Brandy Lynd and Chelsey Clark; and one great great grandchild Rece Meredith Craft. Mrs. Phipps also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 11am Tuesday at the Forest Lawn Memorial Garden Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
