Peggy Ann Hatten

Peggy Ann Hatten, 78, of Ashland, KY, widow of Wiley Hatten, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at her residence.  She was born February 1, 1945 in Fort Gay, WV, a daughter of the late Willard and Mary Etta Cyrus Robertson.  In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her brothers George Robertson, Phillip Robertson, Donald Robertson and Harold Robertson; sisters Rhonda Robertson and Neva Jean Moore; son in law Larry Lycans and sisters in law Linda Hatten, Janet Hatten and Faye Zimmerman.  Survivors include her daughter Etta Lycans; sons Jerry (Lisa) Hatten and Richard (Missy) Hatten; grandchildren,  her care giver and best friend Sarah, Nathan, Bethany, Cody and Brea; great grandchildren Kaiden, Mason, Benjamin, Brantley, Memphis, Eleanor, Samuel, Matthew and Caroline; brothers and sisters, Gary "Jesse" Robertson, Homer Robertson, David Robertson, Stella Wellman, Naomi Castle, Elizabeth Simpson, Bonnie Staley and Teresa Robertson and brother in law David Hatten.  Peggy was Baptist  by faith and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also enjoyed her flowers and all of her cats.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday July 15 by Brother Jim Castle at the Newman Hatten Cemetery, Prichard, WV.  There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery.  Reger Funeral Home and Crematory Ceredo-Kenova Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  www.regerfh.com.
