Phyllis Jean Clagg

Phyllis Jean Clagg, 79, of Huntington, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2017 by Pastor James Kessick at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Lesage, WV. Phyllis was born on April 5, 1937 in Huntington, WV to the late Herald Elsworth and Ramona Geraldine Floyd Walker. She was a secretary for Southwest Community Action Council Inc. and a member of the Madison Avenue Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Bill Clagg, and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by two daughters; Amy Shephard and fianc Mark Kingery and Angela Clagg, and one son; John Clagg, six grandchildren; Thomas Shephard and Lindy Payton and Zachary Shephard and Hayley Henn, Dustin and Ryan Clagg, Erin Clagg, and Jaden Douglas, three great grandchildren; Grayson and Aiden Payton and Ellie Henn, one brother; Jimmy (Marie) Walker, one sister; Sue Stanley, two nieces; Gidget (James) Ross and Debbie (Kent) Sargent, several special cousins, and many friends and loved ones.
