Phyllis Jean Curnutte

Phyllis Jean Curnutte, 86 years old, completed her journey home on Sunday January 28. Phyllis was born May 10, 1937 to Gordon and Cynthia Taylor in Huntington, West Virginia. Phyllis married Elwood (Jim) Curnutte, who preceded her in death in 1997 after 41 years of marriage. She was a fulltime mother to her two sons Tim and Frank, of whom she was very proud. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phyllis was a faithful member of the Kenova Church of Christ, where she so much enjoyed her time with her brothers and sisters in Christ. In addition to her immediate family, Phyllis is survived by daughter in-laws: Carla (Frank) and Kelly (Tim), grandchildren: Jacob (Tiffany), Samantha Fiester (Holden), Jessie Mills (Austin), Aimee, and Mitchell, great-grandchildren Ava, Maddie Mills, Hallie, Julian Fiester, Goldie Fiester, and Case Mills. Visitation will take place at 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday Feb 3 at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington with funeral service starting at 1 PM. A burial ceremony will take place at the Curnutte Family Cemetery immediately following. The family would like to extend special thanks to care givers at Heritage Center.
