Phyllis Jean (Legg) Neal

Phyllis Jean (Legg) Neal, 78 passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV after an extended illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Willie May. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. Phyllis was born on April 9, 1937 in Huntington, WV a daughter of Louise (Lambert) Legg of Huntington, and the late Ralph Legg. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Wayne Chapter No. 156. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Legg and sisters, Norma Black and Barbara Ann Legg. Her beloved husband Robert L. Neal of 56 years and a son Donald L. Neal predeceased her as well. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, Carl E. (Debbie) Legg; children: Shawnee J. Neal, Robert L. (Stephanie) Neal, Timothy L. (Julie) Neal and one daughter-in-law Tammy Neal. Additional survivors include grandchildren: Jeremy, TJ, Jessica, Brittany, Alex Savannah, Isaac and Summer. Great grandchildren: Jared, Ethan, Rebecca, Logan, Shay, Reagan and Gracyn survive as well and a special niece Tammy Smith, several aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Friends may call from 9:00 AM Saturday until service time at 11:00 AM at the Reger Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome, however donations may be made to the Hospice House or to your favorite charity.
