Phyllis Jones

Phyllis Jones, 90, of Huntington, widow of Jesse Jones, passed away Friday January 31, 2025 at Paramount Senior Living, Ona, WV.  Phyllis was born on February 8, 1934 in Wayne, WV the daughter of the late Oscar Booth and Lola Hazelett Woodard.  In addition to her parents she was preceded by her three brothers: Bill, Carroll and Royce Booth.  She and her husband where long time Wayne County educators. She is survived by her two sons: David and Gregory Jones, three grandchildren: Emily VanMeter, Ashley Johnson and Brittany Schrader. Two sisters: Loretta Adkins and Frances Compton. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 PM Thursday February 6, 2025 at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington. Friends may call from 6-7:30 pm Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
