Polly Joann Radford, 81, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor David Pleasant Jr. on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00am at the Jefferson Avenue Church of God. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Polly was born on November 11, 1932 in Wilsondale, WV the daughter of the late Robert and Mae Smith Marcum. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Fredrick James Radford, two brothers and one sister and a grandchild; Stacey Baker. Polly was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of God, a retired clerk from the Cabell County Courthouse and was a Democratic County Executive representing the first district She is survived by her son and daughter in law: Frank L. and Johnie Radford of Palm Bay, FL, daughters and sons in law: Arzetta Mae and David Pleasant of Cape Coral, FL., Debra Sue and Glenn Adkins of Ironton, Oh., Melanie Ann and Bill Corns of Huntington, WV Eight grandchildren Chris and Cody Radford, David Jr. and James Pleasant, Pamela Morrison , Steve Baker, Carissa Williams, 12 great grandchildren and soon to be born Emma JoAnn, two great great grandchildren, one brother and sister in law: Robert L. and Ann Marcum of Huntington, WV.
