Quincy Allen Hutchinson

November 17, 1935 — July 4, 2014

Quincy Allen Hutchinson, 78 of Kenova, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, quietly transitioned from this world to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 4, 2014. Quincy was born November 17, 1935 in Wayne County, WV a son of the late Roy and Letha Ross Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Franklin and Hobert Lee Hutchinson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Phyllis (Sebastian) Hutchinson; his two sons, A. Scott Hutchinson, Sr. and Jason (Kathryn) Hutchinson; four grandsons, Tyler, Alan Jr., Aidan, and Hunter; his sister, Mary Grant; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Quincy was a graduate of the 1955 class at Ceredo-Kenova High School and was self-employed in the home improvement and remodeling industry. He was ordained as a Deacon at The First Baptist Church of Ceredo and continued faithfully serving at The First Baptist Church of Groveport. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Monday, July 7, 2014 at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Ford Price officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Wayne, WV. Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is entrusted with the care of Quincy.
