Ramona Joan Stanley Thompson, 79, of Huntington, passed away April 8, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be under the direction of the Church of Jesus Christ LDS, James A. Wolfe and R. Kim Wolfe, at the Reger Funeral Chapel on Monday at 1PM. Burial will follow in Rome-Proctorville Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. She was born February 8, 1937 in Proctorville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Virgil and Dorothy Holroyd Stanley. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a son Alan Thompson and four brothers Bill, Mack, Ed and Arnold Stanley and two sisters Lois Stanley and Pearl Rose Wagers Survivors include her husband Billy Joe Thompson; daughter and son in law Rebecca Thompson Warf (John) of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren Preston Alan Thompson (Melanie) of Baltimore, MD, Hallie Chesser (Chris) of Portland, Ore. and Taylor Warf of Las Vegas and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon until service time on Monday at the Reger Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com. She loved and was loved by many, as her husband of 59 years has always said, “SHE WAS AN ANGEL HERE ON EARTH.”
