Regina Lee Conner

Regina Lee Conner, 67, of Kenova passed away at her home on Sunday, March 6, 2011 after a long illness. Regina had for several years written a weekly column for the Wayne County News and people who read her articles knew she loved her Lord and her family. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Bessie Farra Workman. Also preceding her in death are her siblings: Ruth Stewart, Edith Rakes, Louise Rarog, Paul Workman, Ray Workman and Earl Workman. Services will be conducted at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1:00pm by Pastor Rodney Hale. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Kenova. Regina is survived by her husband William Conner and six sons, James A. Shearer, Herbert L. Shearer, Daniel Ray Shearer, Matthew Lee Shearer, Roman Paul Shearer, all of Kentucky and Joseph F. Shearer of Spokene Washington; Siblings, Fred Workman of Cleveland, Ohio and Betty Fisher of Kentucky. Visitation will be at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home Tuesday from 6-8.
