Rev. James D. Byrd, 64, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 25, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Doug was born on August 4, 1953 in Huntington, WV to the late James William and Dorothy Warden Byrd. He was a graduate of Huntington High School class of 1973. He is survived by his brothers and sisters in law: James Michael Byrd (Charlice) of GA, Jack E. Byrd (Rita) of Texas and Andy Byrd (Dixie) NC, two sisters: Dorothy Byrd Galleher and Linda Lee Kerr of Fl. Several cousins William and Delores Doersam of Ohio and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Reger Funeral Home.
