Rhona Muncy Greathouse

Rhona Muncy Greathouse, 80, of New Cumberland, WV, formerly of Huntington, WV, wife of Daniel Jim Greathouse, passed away Friday December 29, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center West, Stubenville, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born September 7, 1937 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Cecil and Grace Muncy. Rhona was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers Cecil Muncy, Jr. and Earl Muncy; three sisters Deloris Plybon, Becky Holland and Selena Hypes and two step children Jim and Mark Greathouse. Additional survivors include a son and daughter in law Jim and Shirl Thompson of Louisa, KY; a daughter and son in law Kathy and Jack McKinney of Huntington; three grandchildren Kim (Tommy) Wellman of Wayne, WV, Jeanna Thompson of Phoenix, AZ and Christa Thompson of Wasilla, Alaska; three great grandchildren Alyson, Ryder and Hannah; brothers and sisters in law Edgar and Carol Muncy of Huntington and Leon and Barbara Jordan of Milton, WV; sister Maxine Jordan of Huntington; brothers in law Fred Plybon of Huntington and Bernard Greathouse of Gassaway, WV; step children Dean and Candi Greathouse, Don Greathouse, Penny Reed. Danny Greathouse and Jamie Cook; step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Friends may call from 11 am until service time on Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
