Richard Gail �Bigfoot� Goodwin, 68, of Kenova died Friday, September 21, 2012 at his home. Richard was born January 5, 1944 to the late Constance Taylor and James Goodwin. He retired from CSX, was a Veteran of the US Navy, a member of Unit #119 Special Forces and a member of American Legion Post 93. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Sharon Tolston. Survivors include his wife Evelyn (Poindexter) Goodwin, stepmother Georgia Goodwin, sons Mark (Sherry Fulks) Goodwin and Robert (Tara) Goodwin, daughter Jenny Goodwin, brother Jimmy (Judy) Goodwin, sister Judy (Edward) Henschen, and brother in law Ray Tolston. Additional survivors include grandchildren Tabitha, Christopher, Cambrie, and Olivia Goodwin, Marcus and Darius Goodwin-Fulks; special friends Eric and Jarrod Mullins, Greg Yates and Louie Lowe. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Wednesday at the Ceredo Kenova Funeral Home with Bro. Chelcie Gibson officiating. Military Honors will be performed by members of the Unit #119 Special Forces and American Legion Post 93 Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
