Richard Herbert Sturgill

Richard Herbert Sturgill, 77, of Kenova, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born December 8, 1945 in Huntington, West Virginia, a son of Robert Lee Sturgill and Rosa Ellen Lovins. Richard proudly served his country in Vietnam with the U.S Army and was an exemplary employee at Classic Construction where he worked as an estimator for many years. Survivors of the family include a wife who loved him more than words could possibly express Sue Sturgill; three sons, Jeff Sturgill, Jason Sturgill and Ricky Sturgill. Two step-sons, Tommy Bevins and Teddy Bevins; as well as a very special granddaughter, Braley who always held a very special place in his heart as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will always remember him dearly. There will be no services at this time. Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
