Richard "Rick" Max Kilgore

Richard "Rick" Max Kilgore, 68, of Huntington, passed away Monday, February 24th, 2025 at his home, surrounded by love.  A Celebration of Life service will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, February 27th, 2025 at the Beulah Free Will Baptist Church, Huntington.  Rick was born June 29th, 1956, in Wayne County, WV, a son of the late Max and Nancy Booth Kilgore.  He was a truck driver most of his life, with many other skills under his belt.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Larry Dale Kilgore and sister Sandra Kay McCloud.  Left to mourn him are his two daughters, Ashley (Paul) Turner of Wayne, WV and Krystle Kilgore of Mt. Vernon, Texas; three grandsons, Tristan Turner, Ryan Williamson and Brian Craddock, Jr.  The best granddog ever, Teetow.  Other survivors include brother Mark Kilgore and sisters Linda Bannister and Karen (Roger) Perdue.  Several nieces and nephews that loved Uncle Ricky.  His daughters would like to personally thank niece, Ashley Kilgore, for always dropping any and everything to do for our dad.  For always being his loving advocate.  Nephew, Mark Alan, coming when needed to help with whatever tasks was at hand.  Best friend, Ol' Son, Brad Sullivan, for visiting often and being that true, loving and dependable friend.  Dustin Walker for loving him enough to do whatever Dad needed or wanted.  Caregiver, Christi McCoy for caring for Dad when we had to work, allowing him to stay in the comfort of his home he loved so much.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is assisting the family with arrangements.
