Rickey Alan Evans

Rickey Alan Evans, 72, of Huntington, WV passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 7:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington by Pastor Roger Mooney. He was born on June 12, 1951 in Huntington, WV the son of the late O.B. and Jeanette Midkiff Evans. Rickey enjoyed watching all the Marshall University sports teams. He was an avid beach goer especially for family vacations. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He retired from FedEx with over 30 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Lee Evans; and a brother-in-law, Richard L. Midkiff. He is survived by his son, Matthew Evans; grandchildren, Hannah and Robbie Evans; sister, Judy Midkiff; niece, Amy Hobbs; and special friends, Charlie and Debbie Davis, Kevin and Silkie Adkins, and Tim and Elizabeth Murphy. Friends may call from 5 – 7 pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
