Robena R. Leslie

Robena Joe Leslie went Home on April 5, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Preece and Rev. Larry Mullens officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashland Cemetery. Mrs. Leslie was born in Morgan County, Kentucky on February 1, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Joe F. and Florris M. Reid. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Walter Nickell. Mrs. Leslie was a graduate of the University of Kentucky. She belonged to the Victory Baptist Church in Kenova. She is survived by her loving husband, Ray, of sixty-six years and a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Michael Cobb of Huntington, WV along with several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank her caregivers Phyllis, Etta, Marcie, & Brenda for their compassion and tenderness. Also, a special thanks to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for her final care. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:00p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ceredo-Kenova Memorial Public Library, 1200 Oak Street, Kenova, WV 25530.
