Robert Greenville Brown

Robert Greenville Brown, 89 formally of Plattsburgh, NY and Hampton Virginia, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 in Huntington, West Virginia. Robert joined the National Guard at 14 where he served for 3 years and then joined the United States Air Force where he was in the Vietnam War and retired after 23 years of service. He was a life member of the Shriners, AMRA, and was a devoted Freemason. Robert is predeceased by his parents Walter Brown Sr. and Carrie Cliff Brown; as well as his wife Anita (Barie) Brown; daughter, Judith (Osher) Koziak; brother, Walter Brown Jr.; sisters, Mary Brown, Nellie Abrams and Grace Gosney; grandsons, Robert Schneider and Joshua Boglisch; and his nephew, W. Ben Brown. He is survived by his daughter, Diane and her husband Charles Boglisch; son, Clarence and his wife Beth Osher; grandchildren, Jodie and her husband Craig Bushey, Kristopher and his wife Serena Osher, and C.J. Osher; great grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan and Lucas Bushey, Danielle and Lauren Schneider and Hannah and Hailey Osher. Robert is also survived by his very special niece he called his angel, Sheryl Brown and her loving family Michele and Derrick Dickson, Ben and Bobbie Brown, Nate and Lydia Brown and Thomas Sullivan. His family would like to extend a special appreciation to his caregivers Melissa and Peggy. Reger Funeral Home Huntington is assisting the family with arrangements.
