Robert Lee Ledbetter

Mr. Robert Lee Ledbetter passed away peacefully on July 15, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. He was born November 6, 1933 in Chattanooga, TN to Clarence Lee Ledbetter and Mildred Louise Alexander Ledbetter. He is survived by one sister, Betty Wolford of Huntington, and a host of nieces and nephews. Robert was married for 59 years to the late Lora Lucille Ledbetter, whom he loved and adored throughout his marriage and honored dearly. He leaves behind one son, Dale (Dinah) Ledbetter of Ceredo and one daughter, Lisa (Greg) Shuler of Barboursville, WV. He was blessed and loved by his grandchildren: Leslie Nicole (Jimmy) Parker of Huntington, Keith Patrick Bailey of Huntington, Mikah Lee Ledbetter and Ziah Damien Shuler, both of Barboursville; and great-grandchildren, Alexandria Dayle Parker and Slayden Cole-Patrick Parker. He worked hard his entire life and retired from Steel of WV. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves and National Guard. He enjoyed spending his time boating and fishing. He learned about Christ from the example of his wife and her faithfulness and became a member of the Cannonsburg Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Ministers Mike Fyffe and David Roach officiating with visitation 2 hours prior. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point, OH. The family expresses thankfulness to Wyngate for the loving care they provided while he resided there for the past four years and to the Hospice House for their peace and comfort.
