Roger Eric Dudding

Roger Eric Dudding, 86, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born on January 26, 1937 in Huntington, the son of the late Sterling Dudding and Ernestine Bartlett Kidd and his wonderful step-father, Marlin V. Kidd. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary; sister-in-law, Janis; and their son, Mark; a grandson, Ian Eric Pauley; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Kovacs Dudding. Roger graduated from Huntington High School. For many years he worked as a driver and salesman for Betsy Ross and Purity Bakeries. After leaving the bread business, he went to work at Ceredo/United Bank and First Sentry Bank. He was a wonderful christian man and of the Methodist faith. Surviving him are his wife of 50 plus years, Patricia Holley Dudding; five children, Angel Pauley of Charleston, S.C., Chris Dudding of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., Michael Dudding and spouse Gustavo of Los Angeles, Calif., Nancye and Rodney Wiles and Barbara Dudding both of Huntington; seven grandchildren, Jerod Pauley, Daniel, Jennifer, and LeeAnna Wiles, Kylee, Ashlee, Ryan and Justin Dudding, and Tyler Dudding; seven great grandchildren, Kaydence, Jayden, Riley, Averie, Maverick, Redik, Graeson, and Jolee. Per Roger's wishes he will be cremated. There will be no services at this time. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family with arrangements.
