Rosalee Alean Hardwick

Rosalee Alean Hardwick, 96 of Ceredo, WV passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 18, 2018. She was born July 18, 1921 in Ceredo, WV; a daughter of the late Edgar "Ed" Hazlett and Lula Hannah Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011, James Samuel Hardwick and her daughter-in-law, Bertha Hardwick. She was baptized at 12 years old; was one of the oldest members of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo; and was a member of the C-K Homemakers and Fun Agers. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Larry Fowler of Florida, and their daughters, Kimberly Griffith (Dave) and their children, Brandon and Justin Griffith; Angie Dean (Bobby) and their son, Caleb Dean; her son, Samuel E. Hardwick, and his sons, Chris Hardwick (Robin) and Greg Hardwick. Also surviving are her great-great grandchildren Aidan and Lillian Griffith. Funeral services will be conducted at First Baptist Church of Ceredo at 1 PM on Friday, February 23, 2018 with Pastor Rodney Hale officiating. The family will welcome friends at 11 A.M.
