Roxie Olive Romine

Roxie Olive Romine, 83, of Huntington, WV, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Monday January 28, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Franklin & Sarah Canterbury. She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years; Noah Ely Romine, 2 sons; Franklin (Butch) & Kenneth Romine, 1 daughter; Judy C. Flora, and 2 sisters; Melvina McCloud & Mary Brewster. She is survived by 2 sons; Noah E. Romine Jr. of Huntington, WV and Micheal E. Romine and his spouse Hope of Barboursville, WV, 3 daughters; Velora �Midge� Sturgis Hamilton and her spouse Edward of Auburndale, FL, Shirley F. Hill of Huntington, and Barbara Hill Lambert and her Spouse Donald of Huntington, 21 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Stella Perry of Chesapeake, OH and Hester Crabtree of Huntington, one daughter-in-law; Christine Romine of Ashland, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a special family friend, Randall Meadows. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 30, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Dewey Bias officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Fraziers Bottom, WV. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
