Roy Jennings Whitt

Roy Jennings Whitt Sr. 60, of Wayne died Tuesday November 22, 2005 at his residence. He was born October 19, 1945 in Oceana WV a son to the late Glen M. Whitt and Elsie Maynard Whitt. He is survived by eight children; Beverly and Tim Frasher of Wayne, Patricia and Michael Crow of Columbus OH, Tammy and Shawn Tomblin of Huntington, Roy J. Whitt Jr. of South Point OH, Jerry G. Whitt of OH, Virginia Whitt, Brandy Whitt, and Cathy Whitt who are at home. Brenda Whitt Collins also survives him. Additional survivors include twelve grandchildren: Felicia Pyles and husband Justin, Joshua Frasher, Jacob Frasher, Michael Crow II, Miranda Crow, Mary Crow, Megan Crow, Brandi Napier, Liana Napier, Nathan Tomblin, Kayla Whitt, and Christopher Whitt and one great grandson; Jarrett Frasher-Pyles. Two sisters, Barbara Hamm and Hazel McComas of Kenova. Mr. Whitt also leaves behind three beloved aunts and two uncles; Virginia Finley, Ida Pearl Lester, Mary Elkins, Jim Ed and Carol Whitt, and Junior and Sue Maynard, a step-mother Pauline Whitt, and two step-brothers Ricky Hitchcock and David Maynard. A brother, David H. Whitt preceded him in death. Funeral Services for Mr. Roy Jennings Whitt Sr. will be conducted at 1:00pm Friday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Minister John Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am � 1:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
