Rufus Glenn Ramey

Rufus Glenn Ramey, 77, went to be with his lord & savior on February 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcella (Butler) Ramey. He was born in Huntington WV on February 7, 1948, the son of late Joshua & Lizzy Wiley Ramey. Rufus is survived by his adorning daughters Marlena Ramey and Misty Evans of Winfield, WV. Stepchildren; Chase Michaels, Grandchildren; Ariel Bartram, Alexis Stephen’s, Kendie Partlow, Kaiden Partlow, Tara King and Devin Yates. Great grandchildren; Zayden Bartram, Zaniya Wiggin, Lucas Palmer, Jennifer Palmer; Lucy Palmer, Jasper Anthony Yates. Sisters; Caroline Pratt & Alice Verbage. Brother; Kiah Ramey. He was preceded in death by stepchildren; Cynthia Dennis, Ricky Dennis. Sisters; Frankie Queen, Faye Osborn, Dora Queen. Brothers; Alex Ramey, Burl Ramey and Laney Ramey. He was a retired contractor & loved to play the guitar & banjo. Rufus could make anyone laugh & loved spending time with his family & friends. Most importantly in his life was his faith in Jesus Christ. The family would like to thank all of those for the comfort in his final days. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 7:00 pm Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington.  Friends may call from 6:00 pm until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
