Russell Anthony Smith

Russell Anthony Smith, 63 of Huntington, WV went to his heavenly home on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born on January 22, 1952 in Sacramento, CA; the son of Lawrence Martin Smith and Eliza Elizabeth Saverance. He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandchild, Annabelle Calderon. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his wife, Evelyn Victoria �Evie� Smith; his children: Tony Artrip, Elizabeth Sarton (Charles), Melissa Smith, Bonnie Cestaric, Susan Smith, Crystal Williams (Andrea), Paula Gresham, Shannon Caserta (Chris), Erwin Rardin Jr. (Rebecca); his siblings: Keith Smith, Lawrence Smith and Elizabeth Calderon (Mike). Also surviving are his 24 grandchildren: Tony Artrip Jr., Katelyn Artrip, Tiffany Smith, Anna Sartin, Michael Smith, Edith Hatfield, Kenneth Hatfield, Torey Cestaric, Hunter Cestaric, Emma Cestaric, Destiny Smith, Dazia Smith, Febe Murillo, Isaiah Littleton, Jimmie McCluney, Haley Jackson, Stephanie Hollister, Kailey Horne, Elijah Horne, Madison Caserta, Cristian Caserta, Aubree Caserta, Zoe Rardin and Bella Rardin; his 10 great-grandchildren: Autumn Calderon, Jeremy Calderon, Matthew Calderon, Chayton Shingleton, Dakota Shingleton, Christian Shingleton, Braxton Arrowood, Ryker Jackson and one on the way; his father-in-law, George Berczik (Joyce); his two brothers-in-law, George Berczik Jr. and Clinton Ray Berczik, along with a host of nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Scott, who was Russell�s hospice nurse at home and the staff of the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Rod Justice officiating.
