Russell Edward Kinney

Russell Edward Kinney, 89 of Ceredo, WV passed away on February 29, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born on January 22, 1927 in Parkersburg, WV; a son of the late Charles Kinney and Edith Byles Kinney. Russell was the business agent for IBEW Local 317 for many years, having made numerous friends there. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lee Cochran Kinney; his daughter, Shannon Lee Harvey; his son, James Edward Kinney; his brother-in-law, Ray Moss and most of his siblings. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his daughter, Sandra Lee Spurlock (Londall) and his sister, Janet Moss of Parkersburg, WV; his seven grandchildren: Kenneth Hatten, Nichole Caldwell, Joshua Kinney, Jacob Kinney, Jordan Kinney, Corey Kinney and Codey Harvey; along with several great-grandchildren. The visitation will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services for Russell will be conducted on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
