Ruth D. Mccroskey

Ruth D. McCroskey, 88, of Ceredo, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born June 24, 1922 in Kenova, WV to the late Fred and Georgia (Darling) Dean. Mrs. McCroskey was also preceded in death by her husband Ralph McCroskey. She was a member of the Ceredo United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the United Methodist Women of which she served as Treasurer. Survivors include two daughters Frances R. Porter of Dearborn, MI, and Mary �Cookie� Davisworth of Ceredo, along with 4 grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Friday at the Ceredo United Methodist Church with Pastor Keith leap officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 Thursday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
