Ruth Ellen Burns

Ruth Ellen (Bocook) Burns, 63, of Kenova died Sunday at the St. Mary�s Medical Center in Huntington. She was born June 3, 1946 in Huntington, WV to the late James Henry and Marjorie Ellen (Adkins) Bocook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Bobby Bocook and two sisters, Grace Skaggs and Carol Kelly. Mrs. Burns is survived by her two sons Charles and Brenda Edwards, Tim and Stacie Edwards all of Kenova, WV. In addition to her children, she leaves behind nine grandchildren, Kandi, Leslie, Brandon, Hannah, Breanna, T.J., Tyler, Justin, and Kaitie; two great-grandchildren Kaili and Lexi; one brother, Ray Bocook and two sisters Sharon Mackie and Carmen McDougal of Ohio, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Wednesday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
