Sadie Beulah Ward

Sadie Beulah (Mullins) Ward, 107 years, 2 months and 11 days old, of Ceredo, WV went to her heavenly home on August 19, 2016. She was born on June 8, 1909 in Myra, Lincoln County, WV; she was the daughter of John Henry Mullins and Cora �Bench� Mullins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Brady Ward; their children: James M. Ward, Edward G. Ward, Herbert A. Ward, Frances Lucas and Robert C. Ward; and her 3 sisters. She leaves behind to mourn her loss her children: Elizabeth �Libby� Hohman, Brady Ward Jr, Cora Faye Dixon, Dorothy V. Williams, John D. Ward, Joseph Andrew Ward and Donna Jane Neff; her 26 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Sadie attended Ceredo Christian Baptist Church and she was honored many times as the oldest resident of the Town of Ceredo. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 1 pm at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Day officiating. Burial will follow at Bean Cemetery off Centerville Road in Prichard, WV. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 6 � 8 p.m. at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
