Samuel Stevens

Samuel Stevens, 59 of Wayne, WV passed away on June 3, 2015. He was born on January 13, 1956 in Huntington, WV; a son of Burgess Stevens Jr and Trudy Collins-Lett. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers: John T. Stevens and Timothy Stevens. Sam leaves behind to mourn his loss his children: Melanie Ruth Stevens Black (Martin) and Aaron Daniel Stevens (Krissy Meredith); his sisters: Roxy Akers (Raymond), Susie North (Frank), Ren�e Smith (Michael) and Judy Thompson (Dave); his brothers: Jack Stevens (Cookie), Jesse Stevens, Vernon Stevens (Jennifer Yuhas), David Stevens (Lynn), Mark Stevens and Bo Stevens (Penny). Also surviving are his 7 grandchildren: Joseph Adkins, Christopher Adkins, Caleb Meredith, Braxton Slone, Emma Lee Meredith, Jace Meredith and Addlyn Stevens and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 5, 2015 at noon at the Kenova Church of Christ with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Stevens Cemetery at Whites Creek, Prichard, WV.
