SHERWOOD L. EDENS, 75, of Huntington, W.Va., husband of Barbara Ann Edens, passed away Monday, January 18, 2010, at his daughters home at Snowshoe, W.Va. He retired as General Manager from Pepsi-Cola, Huntington. He was born December 12, 1934, in Cabell County, W.Va., to the late Bennie W. and Alma Hunter Edens. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Chelcie Gibson, 2 p.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. In addition to his wife Barbara Ann, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory L. and Teresa Edens of Huntington, Gary M. and Lisa Edens of Barboursville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri A. and Michael Weed of South Point, Ohio, Patti L. and Philip Duncan of Snowshoe; six grandchildren, Noah, Alexandra, Sammie Jo, 'C.J.', Beau and Roniann; one great-grandchild, Bradley Michael; one brother, Carl L. Edens and one sister, Louise M. Thacker, both of Huntington, and several special nieces and nephews. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1111 Lee Street E., Charleston, WV 25301.
